I mentioned “my astrologer” a few weeks ago and I’m taking a course she put together about the importance of healing relationship and/or sexual trauma via Venusian power. My Venus is in Aries which should be no surprise for those people who know me know me. Hell-O sex positive way of moving in the world…Hell-O loving being surrounded by beautiful things. Hell-O having an eye that is drawn to sparkly things.

But seriously, this astrologer describes people who have Venus in a fire sign as “aggressively beautiful”. She already reminded me I am a Crone and so this Crone will strive to be aggressively beautiful. And what does this mean, exactly? We fade as we age and if we rely on fillers and surgery we look a cartoon of ourselves rather than our best selves. This aggressive beauty needs to come from within that doesn’t mean we can’t or shouldn’t add touches to our bodies to enhance our natural selves if we desire.

The question raised now: what makes someone aggressively beautiful. I think it’s living an authentic life, using kindness and compassion as your love language, honoring other people’s boundaries and creating your own—sticking to them. The aggressively beautiful can say “no” without an apology. Embraces “yes” even if they are scary and far from comfort zones.
