Journal fragment 6/6/2021 reflecting on my first awkward public conversation with a stranger on a Denver street corner. It’s sweet and dear how people don’t seem terribly sure how to act as we return to coffee shops and casually acknowledging one another. There’s an enthusiasm for interaction laced with reticence. Like we’ve forgotten how to have one off conversations.
