Naturally, because my first book is half finished, I have an idea for a second book. I haven't started writing it or compiling it. I’m just holding space for what I want to say. I've been reading and listening to books like 13 year old me during the summer at our lake house. All sorts of things, too. Everything from contemporary romance, memoirs both old and new, poetry, and literary nonfiction. It's been a good summer and I feel ready to write again. And almost every late afternoon the golden light is worth celebrating.
